We just love this refreshing wine because it's easy to drink, crisp, and very flavorful!  A perfect  dry blend of 44% Viognier, 36% Roussanne, and 20% Chardonnay makes this wine interesting, highly aromatic, and delicious.  It has pleasing aromatics and flavors of honeysuckle, pineapple, grapefruit, and minerality. It finishes with a richness on the palate and a crisp, sharp finish with a hint of citrus notes.  Pair this wine with seafood, cheeses, or white pasta dishes.

2005 Syrah Columbia Valley

Winemaker notes:

Ripe dark fruit dominates this full throttle nose with sweet black cherries and blackberries. As it opens spice, earth, smoke and meat join the crowd of enticing flavors. The rich mouth feel is an explosion of these flavors. Hints of leather and minerality add to this already very complex wine. There are substantial, lush mouth-coating tannins suggest longer term cellaring potential and they will continue to add complexity as the wine ages.

2005 Intuition Reserve Columbia Valley

Winemaker notes: (Hold and cellar for 1-15 yrs}

Deep dark color and showing black currant, blackberries black cherries, and plums, vanilla toast in the nose. Velvety upon first entry with well-balanced fruit, oak, and tannins. Big full-bodied structure- will age and soften nicely. Lingering finish with cassis and toasty notes.

Drinking now would require decanting for a couple of hours to make the wine show at its best at this young stage. Decanting reveals additional layers of cedar, cigar box, mint, dark chocolate, some perfume and hints of violet. Vibrant, youthful, and racy now, it will develop additional complexity with bottle ageing.
